WHAT TO EXPECT

St. Paul’s Church, Runnymede is a welcoming and inclusive community of faith steeped in the Anglican tradition.

While we take our faith seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Come as yourself and relax – everyone is welcome regardless of where they are in their faith journey.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I get there?

We are located at 404 Willard Avenue. We are within walking distance from the Jane and the Runnymede subway stations. For those who drive, some street parking is available on Willard Avenue and on Evans Avenue. In addition, there is a small parking lot available at the back of the church on Evans Avenue.

What should I wear?

Whatever you like! Casual, business casual, whatever you’re comfortable wearing.

Can my children stay with me during the service?

Absolutely! Children of all ages are welcome in the service. See the Children and Youth page for more information.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to church and I’m not sure what to do.

Our Sunday service is printed in a weekly bulletin. The prayers and hymns are all printed in the bulletin for you to follow. Unsure whether to sit or stand? Simply watch the others and follow their lead. If you mess up, don’t worry about it! God forgives and so do we!

Can I take Holy Communion?

If you have been baptized, you’re welcome to take Communion.

How long is the service?

The service usually lasts about an hour. Please feel free to join us for coffee or tea at the back of the church following the service so we can get to know each other better.
